Betty Jo Moore

Betty Jo “BJ” Moore, 85, of Spurger, died Sunday, January 17, 2021.  She was born on February 4, 1935, in Jasper, to Mary Halbert Lanier and Charles Willis Lanier.

Survivors include her children, Doug Kibodeaux and his wife, Lisa, of Spurger, Texas and Rebecca Addison and her husband, Fred, of Lafayette, Louisiana; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and sister, Wanda Cannon of Gary, Texas.  She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles “Sonny” Edward Lanier.

Her committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
