Betty Sue Granger

Betty Sue Jones Granger, 82, of Beaumont, died Sunday, June 26, 2022.  She was born on January 23, 1940, in Port Arthur, to Claudia Mae Wester Jones and Corbit Lee Jones, Sr.

Survivors include her children, Lonnie Eugene Granger of Beaumont, Tracey Granger of Cedar Park, and Carol Duhon of Vidor; grandchildren, Dennis Kirk and his wife, Clara, of Beaumont and Christian Duhon and Spencer Duhon, both of Vidor; great-grandchild, Everet; and brother-in-law, Richard Y’Barbo of Silsbee.  She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Dennis Y’Barbo, Jr.; sisters, Evelyn Hoffman, Bobbie Y’Barbo, and Claudia Jeffcoat; and brother, Corbit Lee Jones, Jr.

A gathering of Mrs. Granger’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 1, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her funeral service will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery, Silsbee.
