Beverly Jane Keen

Beverly Jane Keen, 77, of Lumberton, died Monday, March 28, 2022, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born on July 2, 1944, to Corina Wall Keen and Estos Keen, in Beaumont.
Survivors include her sister, Billie Bixler of Lumberton; and nieces, Vickie Gibbs, Gerrie Bixler, David Michna, and Shirley Schommers and her husband, Mark.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Gloria Kernechel and Joyce Dailey; and brothers, Ronnie Keen and Leland Keen.
A gathering of Miss Keen’s family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Friday, April 1, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her interment will be held at Live Oak Memorial Park, Beaumont.

My deepest condolences to the family of sweet Beverly. She was a bus driver for Bingman Elementary School where I was secretary and I remember how kind she was to the students and staff. She always had a smile and words of encouragement for everyone she came in contact with. She also had treats of some sort to hand out to everyone she met. She was an exceptional human being and certainly earned her angel wings while on this earth. Beverly, rest in peace.
