Beverly Susan Murphy

Beverly Susan Murphy, 69, of Nederland, died Thursday, February 4, 2021.  She was born on April 25, 1952, in Pineland, to Pearlie McKay Elam and Daniel Harvey Elam.

Mrs. Murphy enjoyed crafts, decorating, reading, and was known for her green thumb.  She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and Nana.

Survivors include her daughter Beth Hatch and her husband, Jason, of Kountze, and grandchildren, Katelynn Collins, Destiny Rust, and Connor Hatch.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Pearlie and Dan Elam and husband, of forty-five years, Dick Murphy.

Mrs. Murphy’s committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
