Bobbye McCown Dean

Bobbye McCown Dean, 90, of Fannett, died Friday, June 18, 2021, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born on November 14, 1930, to Velva Pearl Mires and Ernest Sylvester McCown, in China. Bobbye was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Fannett.

Survivors include her daughters, Lee Ann Garth and her husband, Terry and Julie Grammier and her husband, Ben; son, Jerry Dean and his wife, Patti; grandchildren, Jake, Amanda, and Ben, Cody and Madison, Casey and Samantha, Alyse and Jason, Caitlin and Brad, and Austin; great-grandchildren, Camryn, Graham, Case, Bryce, John, Lane, Evan, and Aubrey; sister, Ann Pfledier and her husband, Ronnie; sister-in-law, Joan McCown Dudley and her husband, Marvin; brother-in-law, Charles Kiker and his wife, Beverly; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Marshal Dean; son, Mike Dean; sister, Doris Kiker; and brother, Allen McCown.

A family graveside service for Mrs. Dean will be at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Harbor Hospice for the wonderful care.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith United Methodist Church, 18895 FM 365, Beaumont, Texas 77705.
