Brandon Haley Rogers
Brandon Haley Rogers, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 48 years.
Brandon is survived by his wife, Jennifer Rogers; daughter, Shianne Galuska and her husband, Luke Galuska; son, Trace Rogers; daughter, Isabel Rogers; and daughter, Sophia Rogers. Brandon will be remembered by his siblings, Angela Rogers, Eva Wiggins, and Trevor Rogers. Brandon will also be missed by his professional and social circles of friends.
Brandon is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Margaret Rogers of Honey Island, Texas.
Born in Southeast Texas in 1974, Brandon grew up with a deep appreciation for the outdoors. As a young man, he spent many days exploring the Big Thicket finding adventure and mischief. Brandon loved growing a garden, raising livestock, playing disc golf, snowboarding, glass art, playing his guitar, woodworking, welding jewelry and gifts for his family, going to concerts, and fishing. Brandon also loved to travel with his family. Together they enjoyed snorkeling and swimming in the clear waters of Mexico and Hawaii, visiting different beaches and mountains, and traveling around the United States and Canada tasting new cuisines.
Brandon served honorably in the United States Marine Corps ELMACO Unit at Camp Pendleton, California. Following his military service, he spent a few years teaching snowboarding in Park City, Utah, before returning to Southeast Texas to be closer to family.
Brandon was a respected member of his professional community. His career in the oil and gas industry includes expertise in welding and inspection. His colleagues held him in high regard, and he made many lasting friendships throughout his career.
Brandon had a quick wit and an excitement for developing new talents. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A private service will be held in Texas to celebrate Brandon’s life.
His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
Jennifer I am so sorry to hear of Brandon’s passing. What a beautiful tribute and celebration of his life you have written here. I know it’s hard to understand when our loved ones leave us early.

We grieve because we love and have been loved so well by those who leave us too early. Brandon was a kind, helpful neighbor to my widowed mother who everyone called Granny. She sang his praises often. He served her, played his guitar for her and shared stories of his love of nature and his sweet family with her. Before moving her to hospice he came to visit and offered such a sweet and loving prayer over her. I will remember that kindness the rest of my life. Fly with the angels Brandon.
