Brenda Gayle LaFleur
Brenda Gayle LaFleur, 78, of Groves, died Friday, May 10, 2024. She was born February 6, 1946, in Miami, Florida, to Erma Lee Turner and Elmo Cox.
Brenda lived on Diet Cokes, Smokes, and Fox News. She was very giving and loved to take care of her family. She was an avid bowler in her younger years.
Survivors include daughters, Anita Rogers and her husband, Kevin, of Beckville, Kellie Powell, and her husband, Greg, of Vidor, Glenda Davalos, and her husband, Stewart, of Crystal Beach; Six Grandchildren; Fourteen Great-Grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 41 years, Martin; son-in-law, Barney LeBlanc; one sister; and her four brothers.
Mrs. LaFleur’s cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.

I was looking for my Mom’s best friends obituary and came across Brenda. I spent many Thursdays nights bowling against her on The Money League. So sad to hear she has moved on. My prayers for her family whom I bowled against as well.
