Brenda Lou Stroupe

Brenda Lou Stroupe, 80, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away January 28,2023, at Gilbert’s Assisted Living Center.

A native of Leesville, Louisiana, she lived in the Southeast Texas since she was a young child.  Graduated from Bridge City High School in 1960. She was employed by Dr. Bill Franklin in Houston for over twenty years and Advanced Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgeons of Beaumont, for seventeen years, where she retired. She always had a love for animals, rescuing from boat ramps to adoption from the Humane Society.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Steven Stroupe of Beaumont; stepdaughter, Paula Stoudt Guajardo and her husband, Alex; grandchildren, Justin Courtney Stoudt and wife, Rebecca, Alex Patrick Guajardo, and Hardy Addison Guajardo; great-grandchildren, Greyson Kyle Stoudt, Kinsley Grace Stoudt, and Oliver Graham Stoudt; her brother, John Henry Griffin; and nephews, John Paul Griffin and Patrick Griffin.

Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
