Brittany Phillips

Brittany Elizabeth (Bumstead) Phillips, 36, of Kountze, died Saturday, May 29, 2021, at UTMB-Galveston. She was born on August 10, 1984, in Galveston, to Mary and Charles Bumstead, Sr.

She is survived by her husband, Justin Phillips; son, Trenton; and daughter, Aubri, all of Kountze; brothers, Mikey Bumstead and his wife, Jennifer, of Kountze and Jason Devers of Little Rock, Arkansas; sister, Angela Gravel and her husband, Frank, of Silsbee; parents, Mary and Mike Bumstead, of Kountze; nephews, Robert Bumstead and his wife, Jacey, of Orange; Aaron Bumstead, of Kountze; and Jacob Dever, of Little Rock, Arkansas; niece, Sophie Gravel, of Silsbee; great-nephews, Easton and Swayde Bumstead, of Orange; grandmother, Sue Peveto, of Beaumont.

Brittany is preceded in death by her grandparents, Geraldine and Joe Tumlinson; and grandfather, R.M. Bumstead.

A gathering of Mrs. Phillips’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 4, 2021, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Broussard’s, Silsbee, with her interment to follow at Daniels Cemetery, Kountze.
