I taught with Bo when I first started teaching in the 70s and 80s Each morning he'd greet me with "good morning glory." I think of him when I say that or hear others say it. Beau had a good sense of humor and a quick wit. I thought a lot of him.

God bless him

I grew up in Fannett, as did my mother Victorine Blanton Barlow. She always shared sweet memories of rocking Bo as a baby. When our mom passed in 2008 Bo was one of her pallbearers. Sweet memories and he will be missed..

My deepest condolences to the Pipkin family. I meet Bo a couple of years ago while sitting in my car smoking, he stopped and offered me a cold one ( water) after that when ever he saw me he would stop and talk. We had many conversations about his life and family and what the future holds for both of us. Thanks Bo for taking your time to meet a stranger, I will miss our talks but I will send you my special smoke signal! RIH

Bo started life in one of the globe’ finest families Bo and I were high school friends and UT classmates where we became close friends. We rode back and forth from Austin to Beaumont often It was always such fun to be greeteted by Big Bruce and sweet Aline. I stayed in Austin to teach and Bo went back to Beaumont after the tragic death of l his beloved little niece, Becky, A better man than Bo Pipkin. has not lived. Rest joyously in the arms of your Lord.
