Carla Ann Belton

February 12, 1952 - August 6, 2022

Carla Ann Belton, 70, of Port Arthur, died Saturday, August 6, 2022. She was born on February 12, 1952, in Port Arthur, to Dolores Ducote and Jack Belton.

Carla worked as a travel agent for over thirty years and liked to travel herself. She was an avid fan of rock and roll music and enjoyed plants, flowers, and cooking. Carla will forever remain a loving mother, daughter, Grandma Carla, sister, and aunt.

Survivors include her mother, Dolores Belton, of Beaumont; sons, Jason Lemaire and his wife, Sharon, of Groves and Jessie Lemaire of Port Arthur; granddaughters Layla, Heather, and Chelsey Lemaire; sister, Myra Mitchell of Beaumont; niece, Lauren Smith and her husband, Mark, of Beaumont; and grand-nephew, Ray Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Belton.

Cremation arrangements for Ms. Belton were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.

I wasn’t ready for you to leave yet, but I know the good Lord has you and will keep you.. it’s all in his plan.. I will always remember you by your unconditional love and always teaching me to go forward.. your home now, in no more pain. Sleep easy my beautiful momma, tilll we see each other again, love your son, Jessie.
