Carlos Eduardo Llanes, Jr. “Pelon”

Carlos Eduardo Llanes, Jr. “Pelon”, 32, of Fannett, died Monday, April 10, 2023, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on February 10, 1991, to Gwendolyn Lynn Wells and Carlos Eduardo Llanes, Sr., in Houston. Carlos enjoyed music and dancing. He was very artistic and enjoyed creating photo albums and art. He will forever remain a loving son, brother, and uncle.

Survivors include his mother Gwen Llanes of Winnie; father, Carlos Llanes, Sr. of Fannett; sisters, Cecilia Salinas and her husband, Jose III, of Baytown; and Carina Llanes and her husband, Rudolfo Resendez, Priscilla Llanes, and Mercedes Llanes, all of Fannett; grandmothers, Debra Calderon of Houston and Aurora Rico of Pasadena; niece and nephews, Olivia, Rudolfo, Zachariah, and Joey; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Miguel Llanes.

A gathering of Carlos’ family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 13 and Friday, April 14, 2023, at Good Samaritan Fellowship. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Good Samaritan Fellowship, 21544 FM 92, Fred. His interment will follow at Franks Branch Cemetery, Fred, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
