Cookie was a wonderful friend to everyone. Her laugh is memorable. God bless Mike and son’s families as you reflect on those happy memories of love.
Mike,
Our prayers & thoughts are with you and your family. Cookie was such a delightful person, a strong Christian and always brightened up our day when we were with her.
GOD’S BLESSINGS TO YOU,
JOHN & BECKY REIMERS
There are no words to express our deepest sympathy to Mike, all of the McKinstry family, and Tister, Jan. We loved Cookie with all of our hearts and she loved us. Cookie was a beacon of light in my life when it was dark. She changed my world. Mike soon thereafter came into my and my husband’s life. In that moment, both of us cemented a relationship that was profound and far reaching. God knew we needed Cookie and Mike and we are forever blessed by our friendship. All of the memories, fun times, prayers, Bible studies, trips, meals, tears, and laughs we shared are forever etched in our hearts. We grieve with the McKinstry family and we pray for their peace and comfort, but we rejoice that our sweet Cookie is now with The Lord and we will see her when He calls us Home. Thank you, Cookie, for the great impact you had on all of our lives and the legacy you leave behind in each one of us who were blessed to know and love you and to be known and loved by you. Love and miss you, Sis.
So sorry to learn that Cookie passed away… she was
A loving person.
Cookie, along with Mike, was instrumental in providing Christian leadership, counseling, and just genuine love and kindness when I was young, married, and having a very difficult time in my life. Every week at their home, and at church, I looked forward to her hug, gentle smile, and mischievous sense of humor. Cookie and Mike both always had a way of making you feel as though you were the only person in the room when they greeted you, and genuinely showed Christian love while treating my family as if we were their own. It’s hard to imagine one without the other. Miss you til we see you again, Cookie. Prayers for Mike and all their family.
I am sadden to read about Cookie’s passing. We raised our children in Beaumont on Navajo Trail. Many good memories with this family and may peace be with Mike and the boys.
I’m so sorry for your loss mike. I’ll be praying for you and the boys
