Carol Boyer
Carol Boyer, 72, of Vidor, died Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Christus Southeast Texas-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on February 23, 1950, to Jo Lois Fuqua Ewing and Jay Ewing, in Beaumont. Carol will be remembered for her compassion, care for others, and generosity for her family and friends. She will forever remain a loving wife, mother, and Grammy.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Michael Boyer; son, Ronald Sciarrilla and his wife, Jill, of Vidor; daughters, Shannon Lee Miller of Vidor and Stephanie Boyer of Michigan; grandchildren, Colby-Jay Sciarrilla and his wife, Kelli; Nyah Sciarrilla; Sofie Boyer; Chelsea McGee and her husband, Justin; and Austin Miller; great-grandchildren, Piper, Taelin, John, Ella, and Alice; sisters, Janet Cotton of Athens, Georgia and Betsy Hanchey and her husband, Ted, of Vidor; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends.
A gathering of Mrs. Boyer’s family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., with her memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2023, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.

I am grateful to have known the kindness of Carol, she helped me too. So sorry for your loss, Michael, may your memories become blessings.
Carol my dear friend. You were always there and the very first person to show me how to live our way. I will miss you dearly and Michael and family I am so sorry for your loss and please let us all help you in any way we can.

I’m so sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. Seeing Carol and Michael together sharing their wisdom and life experiences was a bright spot in many of my days while living in Beaumont. My condolences to Michael and the rest of her family. She was a genuinely good person and her smile and kind spirit will be missed by many.
