Carol Reddell

August 30, 1943 - December 27, 2019

Carol Reddell, 76, of Lumberton, died Friday, December 27, 2019. She was born on August 30, 1943, in Beaumont, to Claricee Creel Shutter and Charles Shutter.

Survivors include her husband, Norman Reddell; daughters, DiAnne Fletcher of Harrison, Arkansas; Caye Reddell of Nome; and Michellee Purkey and her husband, Richey, of Kirbyville; sons, Ralph Reddell and his wife, Nohelani, of Winnie; Charles Reddell and his wife, Cathy, of Winnie; Troy Reddell and his wife, Crystal, of Anchorage, Alaska; Marcus and his wife Maribel, of Winnie; and Shaun Reddell and his wife, Kathleen, of Silsbee; brother, David Shutter; sister, Lynn Cassell; twenty-five grandchildren; and twenty-five great-grandchildren.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Janis Bauer and Nora Ortis; and brother, Bo Shutter.

A memorial service for Mrs. Reddell’s family and friends will be 3:00 p.m., with a gathering to follow until 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at Broussard’s Chapel, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. A private family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
