Carol Ann Thomashide

Carol Ann Thomashide, 78, of Hamshire, died Friday, May 21, 2021, at Houston Methodist Hospital. She was born December 28, 1942, in Sawyer, Minnesota to Eda Mae Billings White and August J. White.

Carol was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Hamshire. She enjoyed working in her puzzle books and taking care of her animals.

Survivors include her husband of forty years, Bill Thomashide; sons, Gary Wiita; Wade Wiita; and Vincent Wiita; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Michael White and wife, Christine, of Biwabic, Minnesota; sister-in-law, JoAnne White; and seventeen nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Helen Hugdahl; Howard White; and Wilford “Butch” White.

A gathering of Mrs. Thomashide’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 30, 2021, at First Baptist Church, 25304 Highway 124, Hamshire, Texas 77622.
