Cathy Pennell

Cathy Marie Pennell, 56, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born July 5, 1966, in Beaumont, to Chrystine Farley Roy and Gene Alfred Roy.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Doug Pennell; son, Taylor Pennell of Fannett; father, Gene Roy and his wife, Yvonne, of Montana; mother, Chrystine Roy of Groves; brother, William “Bill” Roy of Livingston; Donald Roy and his wife, Jana, of LaBelle; Dewayne Roy and his wife, Dawn, of Vidor; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Louis and Theresa Roy.

Mrs. Pennell’s cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
