So sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs Shirley. She was a very sweet and kind person. She will be missed very much. I only knew for a few years. She would always make me laugh and have something funny to say. In the few years each holiday she would bring sweets that she made to the job for the whole staff. She also made a stuff rabbit for my granddaughter for Easter. Mr Rickey you and the family are in my prayers.

See you later, dear Sister … you were one of a kind. Your hands were always busy caring for Rick, keeping your home a home, helping someone, holding (and loving) one of your children or grandchildren or great-grandchildren. Family was your treasure. Cooking and sewing was your special talent. I always knew you loved me, as well as our parents and siblings. Thank you for all the years you did your part to keep all our families close. Our entire family is already missing your care and your laughter. We won’t miss your love for each of us because we will always carry it with us every day. Please hug Mother, Daddy, Jeremy, Mikey and little Tynlee for us all. ‘Til we meet again, from your big brother and whole family.

We moved to Groves in 1963 and Cecilia was one of my first friends. We lived behind each other and hung out all the time in 7th grade. My prayers are with each of you in your loss.
