Charles H. Conners

February 19, 1945 - August 10, 2024

Charles H. Conners was surrounded by his wife, Sandra; children, Lori, Carrie, and Timothy; and granddaughters, Madelynn, Abby and Elizabeth Baker, at the time of his passing on Saturday, August 10, 2024. He was born on February 19, 1945, in Port Arthur, to Ruby Lee Cousins Conners and Pierre Charles Conners.

Charles was raised and attended school in Buna. After high school, he served in the United States Navy for a short time before he became an Oil/Gas Refinery Maintenance Specialist and Millwright.  He began his career at the Goodyear plant in Beaumont.  His career carried him to jobs overseas with Aramco in Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia and with Exxon in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

He was a friendly, happy, and generous person whose personality will be sorely missed.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Conners; children, Lori Conners, Carrie Conners, and Timothy Conners; grandchildren, Madelynn Baker, Abby Baker, and Elizabeth Baker; and siblings, Ruby Timlin, Patsy Dillon, Mary Penquerne, and Donald Conners; and nieces and nephews who live in the area.  He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Desiree Conners; and brother, Joe Conners

Charles’ cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
