Charles Ogden
Charles “Chuck” Raymond Ogden,82, of Vidor, died Saturday, August 8,2020 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on October 20,1937, grew up in St. Augustine, to Velma and Tommy Ogden. Chuck dedicated many years to 4-H and the YMBL. He was an avid sports enthusiast, loved to watch golf on the weekends and you never caught him without a cup of coffee.
Survivors include his sister, Francis McClelland of St. Augustine; his daughters, Elizabeth Walker of Vidor and Tanya Sowell and her wife, Shanna Bouche’ of Denham Springs, La; Marley his grandpup; and Tick Tack his grandkitty.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Claudia Bishop Ogden; brother, Carlton “Bub” Ogden; and sister, Ima Jean Roberts.
Cremation arrangements for Mr. Ogden will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His family will gather for a memorial service at a later date.
