Charlyn Ann Moore

March 20, 1944 - October 6, 2021

Charlyn Ann Moore, 77, of Sour Lake, Texas, formerly of Idaho Falls, Idaho, died Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Magnolia Place Health Care, Liberty, Texas. She was born on March 20, 1944, to Dortha Jane Standley Workman and Demar Taylor Workman.

Charlyn was born in Anaconda, Montana, she spent most of her childhood in Salt Lake City, Utah area. On August 18, 1961, Charlyn married the love of her life, Dwaine Moore, and relocated to Idaho Falls where she resided until moving to Texas in the fall of 2017. Charlyn & Dwaine were a great team that loved each other unconditionally. They were married almost 60 years.

Charlyn loved her family & friends. She enjoyed traveling with Dwaine and made many trips to Texas to see Marty & Kim. She loved the time they spent in their travel trailer in Swan Valley.

Survivors include her children, Marty Moore and his wife, Susan, of Humble, Texas and Kim Miller and her husband, Mike, of Sour Lake, Texas; grandchildren, Brianna Perry and her husband, Duvall; Wesley Moore; Taylor Moore; Lindsey Miller Sturrock and her husband, Austin; and Jake Miller; six great-grandchildren; and siblings, Sheila Nelson; Larraine Platt and her husband, Bob; Ricky Workman and his wife, Sunja; and Kevin Workman.

She is preceded in death by her husband, C. Dwaine Moore; parents, Dortha and Demar Workman; and brothers, Boyd Workman and Larry Workman.

Her cremation will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

A memorial service will be held for Charlyn & Dwaine on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Wood Funeral Home, 963 South Ammon Road, Ammon, Idaho.  A gathering will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by the memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
