Cherie Elizabeth Hebert

June 3, 1952 - November 20, 2022

Cherie Elizabeth Hebert, 70, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022, at her home in Beaumont, Texas. She was born June 3, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas, to LeRoy and Martha Ochsner. Cherie grew up in Beaumont and graduated from Forest Park High School in 1970. She attended Lamar University for three years and went on to marry Ross Hebert on August 18, 1973.

Cherie had a kind and giving heart and was most known for her sense of humor. She loved making people laugh and knew no strangers. She was also an avid animal lover throughout her life.

Cherie is survived by her former husband, Ross Hebert; her daughters, Jamie (and Bryan) King, Tracie (and Byron) Lutz; grandchildren, Sarah, Bailey, Andrew, Ellie, Rylee, Eli and Wesley; and her siblings, Leslie Ochsner and Lisa Rushing; as well as nieces and nephews.

A gathering of Ms. Hebert’s family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dowlen Road Veterinary Clinic, 2396 Dowlen Road, Beaumont, Texas 77706.

    Aunt cherie was an amazing aunt In every way, she would definitely make sure you would get a laugh in through out the day, she was a very loving and caring person she cared about everyone her family and friends, she will be missed severely, we love you aunt cherie.

    My grandson has strep throat so to protect my loved ones we will not attend her memorial service! Today we honor my oldest sister’s life. She passed on 11/2022. Thank everyone thats prayed and supported all whom love Cherie. What can I say? Cherie always tried to lift your spitit even when hers was down. She loved life, her family and our Creator. family. Thank you Lord for blessing each of us whom are Honored by her presence!

    I always had such a fun time when I was with you aunt Cherie! I remember the many times we played against each other on Tetris when it first came out on Nintendo and we would play for hours and laugh so much and have so much fun… I thought it was so awesome of you to take the time to teach me how to play it.So many priceless memories at your house swimming and the many trips with all of us going to Crystal Beach and making beautiful family memories ???? We all love you so much and miss you but will see you when God calls us home!???????????????? May you R.I.P and fly high with the angels ????????❣️
