Cheryl Ellison Moss

September 23, 1957 - June 27, 2025

Cheryl Ellison Moss, 67, of Silsbee passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, Houston. She was born on Monday, September 23, 1957, in Beaumont, to Anna Belle Thibodeaux and James Bevil Ellison. She was raised in Sour Lake.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-seven years, Porky Moss; daughter, Jamie Moss of Silsbee; son, Jeremy Boyett and his wife, Amanda of Cameron, North Carolina; grandchildren, Dallas Moss; Landry Moss; Hunter Boyett; Mickey Boyett; Madison Ann Boyett; Emma Boyett; Jaidyn Boyett; great-grandson, Jackson Boyett; sisters, Pauline Smith of Kountze; Deborah Moss of Odessa; and Alice Moss of Lumberton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Byron Ellison.

Mrs. Moss’ Celebration of Life will be 6 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 7, 2025, at First Baptist Church, 350 Highway 96 South, Silsbee. Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.

    Remembering Cheryl….
    I met Cheryl in high school and she was a character.
    She had a great sense of humor and was always kind to me.
    I would often see her at Walmart and always ran into her at the Homecoming parade.
    We would stand near each other and catch up on what was going on in our lives.
    I will miss her.
    May she rest in peace.
    My sincere condolences to her family.
    This is a great loss.
