Cheryl Sekinger
Cheryl Sekinger, 62, of Lumberton, died Wednesday, November 9, 2022, surrounded by her family, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born January 3, 1960, in Beaumont, to Earlyene Smith Seymour and Robert William Seymour.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Jack Sekinger of Lumberton; daughter, Heather Clark and her husband, H.K., of Bridge City; son, Matthew Sekinger of Lumberton; brother, Robert Earl Seymour and his wife, Dixie, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Dylan Copeland of Vidor, and Camden Clark, Cambrie Clark, Campbell Clark, all of Bridge City.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley Copeland.
Mrs. Sekinger’s cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

Cheryl had such a beautiful soul. She always had a smile on her face. Condolences to Jack and the rest of the family. May she rest in peace.

Cheryl was a loving daughter, wife and mother, but the apple of her eyes were her grandchildren. In her Grands, she found so much love and always had a story to tell involving them. A greater family was her Christian family where I have been blessed to work beside her for a very long time. Her love of the Lord moved her to teach our children for many years about His great love and works. I was honored to work beside Cheryl, to witness her valiant fight in sickness, and be a shining light during trying times. I know you are in a better place… until we meet again.

So many wonderful memories of my beautiful first cousin, she was the first baby in our family when I was a little girl and I considered her my baby doll. May you RIP til we all meet again.
