Christina Kathleen Tolbert
Christina Kathleen Tolbert, 28, of Port Acres, died Wednesday, July 20, 2022. She was born May 31, 1994, in Beaumont, to Shanna and Scot Tolbert.
Christina was very athletic and enjoyed playing softball and golfing. She had a feisty nature and was known for her intelligence and wit. She enjoyed her time working for the Zaban Paradies Center in Atlanta, Georgia, where she helped transition homeless couples into stable housing. She loved spending quality time with her friends and family. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend to many.
Survivors include her father, Scot Tolbert, of Woodville; brother, Cameron Tolbert, of Port Acres; grandmothers, Myrna Morgan, of Port Acres, and Doris Shepherd Tolbert, of Woodville; uncles, Jerry Tolbert and wife, Anne, of Woodville and Lance Arnaud and wife, Holly, of Austin; and numerous other loving relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Shanna Arnaud; grandfathers, Doug Tolbert, Mac Arnaud, and Lloyd Morgan; and great-grandmother, Hansel Lyday.
A gathering of Ms. Tolbert’s family and friends will be 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
