Christopher Eugene Denmon

February 7, 1981 - July 28, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher Eugene Denmon, who left this world on July 28, 2025, at the age of 44. Though he called Bridge City, Texas, home in recent years, Chris lived a life full of movement, connection, and love wherever he went.

Chris was a devoted father, a loving son, a protective brother, a proud grandfather, and a loyal friend. He is survived by his five children: Caine Denmon and his wife Ashlyn Denmon, Camryn Denmon, Camylle Denmon, Callye Denmon, and Jace Hartman. His legacy lives on through his two cherished grandchildren, Caisten Denmon and Cruze Denmon.

He also leaves behind his loving mother, Theresa Knighten, and her husband Jason; his father, Ronnie Pelt; his brother, Laurence Rabatie, and his wife Monica, along with their three children; and his sister, Brittany Rabatie, and her three children. Many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends will remember him fondly. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Elton and Christene Denmon. They were a big part of his upbringing.

Chris had an undeniable passion for trucks and cars — they were his true joy. He could talk about them for hours and was always happiest under a hood or behind the wheel. He was a man who knew God, carried faith in his heart, and lived with grit and determination. He was a hustler — always pushing, always providing, always moving forward.

Chris’ family invites all who knew and loved him to join in celebrating his life. A gathering of Chris’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 4, 2025, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at RS Farmer Cemetery, South 3rd Street, Silsbee.

Though his time with us was cut far too short, the impact of Chris’ life will be felt forever. His memory, his love, and his drive will live on in all who had the privilege to know him.

Chris you were more than just a son in law, you were a part of our family for so long that you were one of my sons. Our family was your family for20 years, nearly half of your life. Your enthusiasm for life was truly intoxicating. I remember a conversation we had one time that you told me you would be a millionaire by the time you turned 40. Well son, i pray you know that although you were referring to money, you achieved becoming a millionaire in many other ways. You touched many lives and your drive and enthusiasm for life were infectuous. You lived large, you loved hard and you left your mark on many of us left in this world. I still hear your laughter and i know that we will all miss you dearly and we will never forget you, Chris Denmon. Thank you for loving my daughter and for giving me 3 beautiful grandaughters. We will always carry love for you in our hearts…..

I remember growing up and staying with you and Ashley as me and Caine hung out! Me and Caine grew up together so you were kinda like a father to me for a short period of my life and I have always appreciated that! I love you cousin may your beautiful soul rest in peace!
