Clifford Moore
Clifford Moore, 67, of Kountze, died Monday, September 5, 2022. He was born on November 9, 1954, in Kountze, to Lillie Mae Lakey Moore and Sidney Moore. Mr. Moore proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
Survivors include his children, James Moore and his wife, Ashlee, and Brian Moore; grandchildren, Grace Moore, Sara Moore, Sidney Moore, and Allison Moore, all of Kountze; great-grandchild, Nevaeh; siblings, James Moore and his wife, Patricia and Francis Scarber and her husband, Robert, all of Broaddus; and numerous cousins. He is proceeded in death by his parents.
A gathering of Mr. Moore’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 12, 2022, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe Street, Kountze. His funeral service will 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Broussard’s with his interment to follow at Jordan Cemetery, Honey Island.

Clifford was a favorite of mine and my brothers as children He was easy to smile, laugh just a good spirit .He was a good athlete and tougher than a bucket of nails. I know you all will miss him and I hope your pain gives way to great loving memories.
Clifford was a friend from Honey Island. We went to school together. He was always very nice. He will be missed.
Clifford was a boyhood friend of mine. We spent many days, fishing, playing ball, swimming in creeks etc… doing what country boys do. Whenever I think of growing up in Honey Island, I will always think of Clifford.
