    Maryland Manuel says:

This was a hard pill to swallow . I was one of the ones who trained Marioneaux when he first got to the Gist unit . He was a very hard worker and he worked constantly, always moving . When COVID hit and he started spraying to keep the Unit sanitized and clean I often teased him about not doing a damn thing ( inside joke ) . He partner Duff knows what that means . He will be greatly missed . So farewell until we meet again Marioneaux . There will be a portrait of him painted by an inmate in his memory for the unit . God bless you all ! Manuel
