Connie Louise Redditt Eldred

April 17, 1951 - July 20, 2022

Connie Louise Redditt Eldred, 71, of Fannett, died Wednesday, July 20, 2022. She was born April 17, 1951, in Port Arthur, to Billie Jean and Turance Redditt.

She was a long-time member of FUMC – Nederland. She loved all animals and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and cross stitching. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and Grandma Connie.

Survivors include her husband of twenty-eight years, Tom Eldred, of Fannett; daughters, Charlene Nelson, of Fallon, Nevada, Rebecca Eldred, of Dallas, Texas, and Bethany Eldred, of Fannett; granddaughters, Megan Barnes and husband, Carl; Erin Salazar and husband, Tristen; and Haley Nelson; great-grandchildren, Lyncoln, Bentley, Peyton, and Cyrus; sister, Cheryl Redditt, of Atascosita; brother, Alexander Redditt, of Port Neches; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. She will be extremely missed by her faithful canine companion, Rowdy James.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of Mrs. Eldred’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2022, with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
