From an early age, life was never easy for Corey. Though he had the love of family, especially his grandma Debbie and his Nini. He faced many challenges that could have broken his spirit but instead, he fought back. He battled through challenges in life. He was determined not to be defined by his past. Corey found clarity, purpose, and most importantly, love.
Finally free from the burdens that once held him down, he had begun building a new chapter in his life. He met the love of his life, became engaged, and was looking forward to a future he had worked so hard to reach.
Though he is gone too soon, Corey will be remembered not just for his struggles, but for his fight, his growth, and the love. I’ve known Corey all his life and even at his darkest day when things weren’t going right he always had a smile and offered a lending hand to anyone. He always found a way to look on the bright side. And that is something we can all model. You will be missed Corey
