Cynthia Ann Chase

Cynthia Ann Chase, 60, of Beaumont, died Saturday, June 4, 2022. She was born on November 23, 1961, to Madelyn Breaux Hogue and Billy Hogue, in Port Arthur. Cynthia faithfully went to church and attended Westgate Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, and going to the beach.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Chase of Beaumont; daughter, Staci Guzman and her husband, Alonzo, of Fort Collins, Colorado; mother, Madelyn Russell of Houston; brother, Bill Hogue of Tennessee; stepbrother, Dale Weathersby and his wife, Tonya, of North Dakota; sisters, Sheila Rafferty and her husband, Brian, of Spring and Charlotte Forbes and her husband, Chris, of Conroe; and grandchildren, Shane Chase, Seth Cucancic, Chase Guzman, and Kaia Guzman.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Alisha Benoit; father, Billy Hogue; stepmother, Lois Hogue; and brothers, Dale Hogue and Warren Hogue.

A gathering of Mrs. Chase’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Beaumont.

    Cindy I knew 34 yrs ago when I went out to Texas to meet the Family with Bill and met you we were gonna hit it off and that we did and got very close over the years. You always kept everybody laughing & a smile on your face. I couldn’t of ask God for a better sister in-law . I’m glad we kept in touch and let each other know every time we talked how much we loved one another. I thank God I had you for as long I did and forever in Heart always will. You were such a Blessing to so many . God has you now but your Family will always have you in there Hearts as well as I. I will always Cherish our memories and times together we shared. When God got you he sure got a good one. Your at home at last with your dad, your brothers , mom Lois, grandma Hazel ,grandpa Thack, but most of all your baby girl and I know y’all are celebrating .
