Dale Lynn Hilgemeier
Dale Lynn Hilgemeier, 66, of Buna, died Sunday July 3, 2022. He was born on October 7, 1955, in Beaumont, to Jane Wherry Hilgemeier and Henry Clarence Hilgemeier.
Dale was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He spent twenty-seven years in the transportation department in Beaumont Independent School District before retiring and starting his own business, Dale’s Tractor Service, working for his brother. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, riding in the woods, traveling, and spending time with his family. He will truly be missed.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Hilgemeier; children, Kevin Hilgemeier of Hamshire and Kristin Schiesler and her husband, Kirk, of Silsbee; mother, Jane Hilgemeier of Boerne; son-in-law, Jason Smith of Silsbee; grandchildren, Carter Smith, Emily Hilgemeier, Olivia Hilgemeier, and Luke Schiesler; brother, Greg Hilgemeier and his wife, Lisa, of Boerne; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father and daughter, Kimberley Smith.
A gathering of Dale’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 8, 2022, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Withers Cemetery, Buna.

I am so sorry to hear of Dale’s passing. May God wrap his loving arms around you all and comfort you in your time of loss. At least he and Kimberley will be together again and I hope that brings you some peace knowing your baby girl will be reunited with her Daddy.
