Dallas Jeanette “Dal Jean” Costanzi
Dallas Jeanette “Dal Jean” Costanzi, 79, was born in Beaumont, Texas on June 11, 1943, to Dallas Jeanette Saxon Morse and Thomas Nixon Morse, Jr. She passed away on January 7, 2023, at Harbor Hospice House surrounded by her loved ones. Dallas attended South Park High School.
Dallas was a truly dedicated woman who always sought out the positives in life. In her early years, Dallas was a member of the South Park Greenie-Dears Drill team and the band. Dallas then moved into the Tax world where she was a Master Tax Advisor, E.A, and spent 43 years preparing Taxes as a franchisee of H&R Block in Lumberton, Kountze, and Silsbee. It is here where the saying goes, “Dallas would call the IRS and tell them what to do instead of the other way around.” Dallas also enjoyed going to Las Vegas where you could find her giving lessons to her loved ones on the rules of Blackjack. After retiring, Dallas traveled to spend time with her friends, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who she cherished deeply.
Dallas was the light of the room and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Dallas is survived by her daughters, Belinda Parker and her husband, Donny, of Crosby; Lisa Breese and her husband, Kenneth, of Plano; sons, Charlie Holst and his wife, Tammy, of Crosby; Anthony Costanzi of Fredericksburg, Pennsylvania; James Costanzi and his wife, Michelle, of Port Arthur; sisters, Sandy Kelley-Jones and her husband, Bob, of Pearland; Polly Manzer of Beaumont; twelve grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Costanzi; parents, Nixon and Jeanette Morse; brother, Tommy Morse; grandchild, Matthew Spence; and great-grandchild, Kinsley Long.
A gathering of Mrs. Costanzi’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s, Crematorium, Beaumont.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.

So sorry I didn’t realize Dallas passed away. I enjoyed taking some tax classes from her and taking a few trips to Vegas for the IRS Tax Forum. She knew the best buffets in Vegas any day of the week. I admired her tax knowledge and she was very helpful to me. She will certainly be missed.
So sorry, I just now found out that Dallas passed. I will dearly miss her. She was so sweet, funny and such a bright light. I always enjoyed seeing her at tax time. We had a lot of good conversations. She always offered wonderful advice through out the year when I would call her. Prayers for family. RIP Dallas.
I am not a friend to the family, but I am very sorry for your loss. I knew Dallas through her position at H & R Block. She completed my taxes several years. I enjoyed our small talk, her kindness and her professionalism. She will be missed and I will think of her each time that I pass her place of employment. She touched my heart.
