Daniel Lynn Heiner

October 26, 1954 - April 17, 2022

Daniel Lynn Heiner, a lifelong Beaumont resident, was eternally healed on Sunday, April 17, 2022, surrounded by his family.  He was a 1973 graduate of Forest Park High School, Beaumont.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, William Frederick “Bill” Heiner, Sr. and Helen Marie Daberkow Heiner; his niece, Candice Marie Erickson; and his grandparents, Ott and Lydia Heiner and Vic and Mary Daberkow.

He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Ferguson and her husband, Neal; son, Justin Heiner and his wife, Shona; son, Bryan Heiner and his wife, Stephanie; daughter, Karen Nall and her husband, Coy; He loved his four grandchildren and enjoyed hearing about their activities, Audrey Anne Ferguson (age 9), Douglas Wayne Nall (age 6), Lillian Kate Nall (age 4), and Hannah Lynn Nall (age 2); additional surviving family include his brother, Billy Heiner and his wife, Chris; sister, Kathryn Erickson and her husband, Ernie; brother, John Heiner and his wife, Regina; nephews and nieces, Jeremy Heiner, Josh Heiner, Matthew Heiner, Amy Perkins, Kyle Erickson, Kimberly Ou, Sarah Reus, Jacob Heiner, and Zachary Heiner.

2 Timothy 4:7

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

A gathering of Mr. Heiner’s family and friends will be scheduled at a later date. His committal was held through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 4330 Crow Road, Beaumont, Texas, 77706.

    I knew Danny for a couple of years. We were neighbors and both of us wheelchair-bound.. I will miss his wit, his stories, thoughtfulness and his just being a friend. May he rest in Peace.

    Every time I would see Danny…he would remind me how old each of us was about to be. He knew every birthday of the “old Gang”.
