Danny Paul Gladden

August 30, 1974 - April 22, 2022

Danny Paul Gladden was born August 30, 1974, in Port Arthur, Texas, and was Baptized in Christ on September 24, 1979. He left his Houston home in our world for his eternal home with the Lord on April 22, 2022. Danny grew up in Beaumont and maintained close friendships over the years with his high school friends and church family, who remember him fondly as a generous friend who shared their troubles and encouraged their success.  Danny was not as quick to share his own needs and personal struggles with others, but whether he asked for help or not, Danny was always lifted up through the years by the prayers of those who loved him.

Danny is survived by his parents, Angela and Ray Baker of Beaumont, Texas, and Dale and Debbie Gladden of Slidell, Louisiana; his girlfriend, Stephanie Stage of Rosenberg, Texas; his son, Tyler Gladden of Des Moines, Iowa; his daughter, Allison Gladden of Center Point, Iowa and her boyfriend, Todd James. Family also includes a brother, Derek Gladden of Slidell, Louisiana; a stepsister, Shea Cheek of Abilene, Texas; his Godfather, Ray LeBlanc, Sr. of Wildwood, Texas; and his Godmother, Susan Trevino of Nederland, Texas. Danny was blessed with many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends, and he treasured their support.

Danny knew how to love BIG! He never held a grudge or judged others, and at his best, he was a constant motivator of others toward the goodness of life. He had learned firsthand the truth that if you trust God and lean on God’s wisdom, then you will be led daily toward the abundance that God has for us. Danny’s communications with his friends and parents during the final days of his time here with them demonstrated clearly the peace his soul had come to and the abundance he felt in the love of those in his life.

The family invites all who knew and loved Danny to a Christian Celebration of Life that will be held in Danny’s memory at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Christian Fellowship Church, 3950 Pointe Parkway, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  Broussard’s Crematorium handled the disposition of Danny’s earthly remains.

His service will be available on livestream via the link https://www.youtube.com/c/CFBeaumont.
