Cynthia Darlene Rivett

September 14, 1957 - May 18, 2021

Darlene Rivett, 63, of LaBelle, died Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. She was born on September 14, 1957, in Port Arthur, to Nancy Elizabeth Eady Oliver and Louis Cleve Oliver. Darlene retired from Beaumont Independent School District after over twenty years in the library department. She then worked at Faith United Methodist Church in Fannett. Darlene enjoyed hunting and fishing and was happiest when with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of forty-two years, Randy Rivett, of LaBelle; sons, Jeremiah Rivett and his wife, Brooke, of Beaumont and Jacob Rivett and his wife, Ashley, of LaBelle; grandchildren, Abby and Cyan Rivett; sisters, Carolyn Hurych and her husband, John, of LaBelle and Nancie Cooper and her husband, Kerry, of Nederland; and brother, Louis Cleve Oliver, Jr., of Beaumont.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Her committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
