Darrell Eugene Sonnier
Darrell Eugene Sonnier, 53, of Winnie, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021. He was born April 25, 1968, in Winnie, to Pricilla Jean Barrow Sonnier and Elton Joseph Sonnier.
He is survived by his wife, Nikki Sonnier, of Nome; mother, Pricilla “Prissy” Sonnier, of Winnie; siblings, Richard Sonnier; Yvonne Hudspeth and her husband, James; and Harrell Sonnier; children, Hope Baronet and her fiancé, Michael, of Highlands; Adam Sonnier, of Anahuac; Stephanie Desormeaux and her husband, Stephen, of Anahuac; Bethany Herring and her husband, Kody, of Crosby; Zack Kaiser, of Winnie; Mason Spivey, of Nome; and Shelbi Ledet of Sour Lake; grandchildren, Sara, Stephen “TBubs”, Skylar, Riley, and Addalynn; aunt, Linda Weekly; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his father, E.J. Sonnier; grandparents, Mable and Matthew Sonnier; and Ruth and Henry Barrow; aunt, Deborah Smith; and uncle, Gerald Sonnier.

A gathering of his family and friends will begin at 8:30 a.m. with his funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
