David Dewees

David L. Dewees, 66, of LaBelle, died Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Christus Dubuis Hospital of Beaumont. He was born January 31, 1956, in Port Arthur, to Mary Agnes Dewees and Ray E. Dewees, Sr.

David was a United States Navy veteran. He was a truck driver for many years and until 2017 he owned his own trucking company.

Survivors include his stepdaughter, Joanne Little; stepson, Johnny Calcote and wife, Annette; brother, Earl W. Dewees, Sr.; and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; late wife, Eloise Dewees; and brothers, Charles R. Dewees, Sr., Robert E. Dewees, and Ray E. Dewees, Jr.

Mr. Dewees’ graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 618 Block Street, Port Neches, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12^th Street, Nederland.
