Mr Cobble was a wonderful man who I had the pleasure of working with in the Trust Department, he was a man of integrity and kindness. Never had a cross word but always had a little joke to make me smile. He was my friend that I will always treasure. Rest in Peace my dear friend.
I also took many banking classes that David taught many years ago. He was my favorite teacher, I always learned something in his classes. I remember that he loved Snickers. I remember him as a mild and very nice and respectful man. Prayers for comfort for his family and loved ones.
David was on o f my oldest friends that I can remember from 1945; the War was over and the Fletecher Richardson family returned to Silsbee to live within a few blocks of David Cobble, John Walter McGinty, Peggy Sue Bradshaw, Rita Wilson and Annelle Poshtaske. Annelle and David are the first to pass; they will both be missed by the rest of the group.
Condolences to to Cobble family.Mr.Cobble was a very sweet man I really enjoyed working with him as his caretaker.
I was truly blessed to have known and worked with David for many years at Silsbee State Bank. He was a kind man with the utmost integrity.
Karen, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.

Sending sincere condolences. Praying for God’s comfort and peace for all the family.
Mr. Cobble was one of the nicest and fairest person I have ever met. His integrity was impeccable. I loved his dry wit as well. Sending prayers and love to Mrs. Cobble and the rest of his family.
Karen and Family,
So, so, sorry to hear about David. What a loss to Silsbee and the entire Hardin County community. Bob and I thought so much of him and were always glad to be called friends during our many years knowing him in Silsbee. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your family.
David was my friend and banker for 30+ years when we moved to Silsbee in the early ’70s. As in all small businesses, there are ups and downs and he was always there for me.
Rest in peace my dear friend … see you soon.
