David was an honorary pallbearer at my dad’s funeral and a Prince of a man. He’s been in our family since my earliest memories. My brother Mike and our whole family love and revere David and this group of FHS friends as A FORCE. They have maintained their brotherhood throughout all of life’s curveballs. This is a testament to something very rare and special I’ve been blessed to witness my whole life. Go with God sweet David. Say hi to everybody!! Thanks for making time for everyone always. I pray for healing love to surround his family and his countless “brothers” and friends. He will be remembered.

David Kerr was a man who welcomed everyone with an open heart. To me, he was like a second father—always ready with a hug, a joke, and the kind of kindness that made you feel like family. He never met a stranger and was always the first to lend a helping hand. His laughter still echoes in my mind, a reminder of the joy he carried everywhere he went. As we hold Terry, a woman we all lovingly call “Mom,” close in these difficult days, we surround her with the same warmth and love David so freely gave. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit lives on in every life he touched.

I met David through Andy many years ago. Since that day, he always treated me special, like a sister. He loved everyone of his friends deeply and would walk through fire for them! He loved the Lord and you felt it every time you were blessed to be in his presence. He made everyone feel like they were the most special of all, what a gift he had. We all now have another Angel watching over us. Rest easy friend, your job is finished here on earth now enjoy your Heavenly reward.

    Andy Barry says:

I went to the sandpits to shoot wood ducks with Wes one afternoon and met Rocky and David. What a great man. David loved to hunt and fish, but most of all he loved to cook for the friends he was hunting and fishing with. David was a TRUE friend. He was true to God, true to his wonderful family, and true to his friends. David brought people together by inviting his friends to enjoy lunch or dinner together. I have several friends that I wouldn’t know if it weren’t for David. Thank you Terry and the Kerr family for sharing David with us.

    Jeffrey Murphy says:

    1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
    King James Version
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
