Dean Kuebodeaux
Dean Kuebodeaux, 86, of China, died Monday, January 17, 2022, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born on September 2, 1935, to Clemence Goudeau and Joseph Roy Goodeaux, in Pine Island, Texas. Dean loved gardening, quilting, cooking for her friends and family, and spending time with her kids and grandkids. She was a proud Boy Scout mom. She looked forward to bible study, sleepovers, and lunch with her best girlfriends. Dean enjoyed rocking on her back porch admiring her flower beds and listening to the birds she took such good care of.
Survivors include her daughter, Renee Kuebodeaux; son, Andy Kuebodeaux and his wife, Audrey; grandchildren, Codi Burgess and her husband, Callan and Heather Clark; and great-grandchildren, Cameron Burgess, Greyson Burgess, Ahzyna Clark, and Daisy Clark.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronnie Kuebodeaux; and brother, Arthur Lee Goodeaux.
A gathering of Mrs. Kuebodeaux’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 21, 2022, at China United Methodist Church, 205 West Washington Avenue, China, with interment to follow at China Cemetery.

i met them when they came into my shop. they told me about the museum they had out there and i donated some war stuff. i cherish the belt buckle Ronnie made for me and will miss my french lessons from Dean, i am honored to have known such wonderful people
I never saw a more devoted couple than Ronnie and Dean. I believe that is what True Love looks like. It was always my pleasure to meet up with them as a couple, and visit. Our common element, was my Cousin, Dr. Gary C. Baine, and Scouting. Ronnie and Doc Baine were some of the Best Scoutmasters you would ever know and both had devoted wives.
Amazing how soon Dean passed after Ronnie. I believe their Love and Their time together are continuing on in the next life. I hope I get to see them again, together. Bucky
Miss Dean will really be missed. She was such a special lady to my husband and I. Things won’t be the same without she and Ronnie. They were the best neighbors you could ask for. God bless you Miss Dean
Thank you everyone for your kind words and sympathy. Momma would be touched, and is watching over us now as she always did, just from higher up.
“Miss Dean” always made you feel special. She always had a twinkle in her eye and a good word for you. She and Ronnie will be missed.
