Deanna Lane LeBlanc

November 20, 1942 - May 18, 2020

Deanna Lane LeBlanc, 77, of Winnie, died Monday, May 18, 2020, at Christus – St. Elizabeth Hospital, Beaumont. She was born to Olite Bourque Bertrand and Alpha Bertrand, on November 20, 1942, in Kaplan, Louisiana. Deanna retired from East Chambers school cafeteria. She loved playing cards and visiting friends, but most of all loved cooking meals and being surrounded by family.

She is survived by her son, John LeBlanc and his wife, Linda, of Bryan; daughter, Beth Glenn and her husband, Alan, of Winnie; sisters, Judy Freeman and her husband, Wayne, of Fannett, Peggy Meche, of Winnie, Debbie Freeman, of Fannett, and Letha Ann Bertrand, of Beaumont; brothers, Donald Bertrand and his wife, Doris, of Kountze and Ferrill Bertrand and his wife, Terry, of Fannett; grandchildren, Shantrey Glenn, Dr. Spencer Glenn, Nathan LeBlanc, Maddie LeBlanc, Matthew Moon and his wife, Emily, Joshua Moon, and Victoria Moon; great-grandchildren, Sophia Moon, Wyatt Moon, Caleb Moon, and Noah Lara; and numerous nieces and nephews and their spouses.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn LeBlanc; daughters, Jean LeBlanc and Jane LeBlanc; brother, Lyman Bertrand; and sisters, Delores Gallier and Cheryl Granger.

A gathering of Mrs. LeBlanc’s family and friends will begin at 11 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont, followed by a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1640 North Major Drive #101, Beaumont, Texas 77713.
