Dee Ann “Annie” Soileau
Dee Ann “Annie” Soileau, 75, of Beaumont, died February 25, 2025. She was born September 6, 1949, in Fort Worth, to Betty and William P. “Dee” Campbell.
Dee Ann Campbell moved to Beaumont, Texas, from Fort Worth as a baby. She attended St. Anne Catholic School and graduated from Monsignor Kelly High School in 1967. After having her beautiful daughter, Cassie, she settled into a job as a respiratory therapist at St. Elizabeth Hospital, when she met and married Larry, her loving husband of 48 years. She had a short hiatus to have her two sons, Patrick and Ryan, while also beginning her loving walk with the Lord at LaBelle Baptist Church. She returned to work at Howell’s Furniture and excelled for 20 years before retiring in 2009.
Dee Ann loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherwoman whether it was cane poles and bayous, flipping flatties at Dick Dowling, or setting the hook on largemouth bass with her brothers. She also truly enjoyed going up to the deer lease with Larry to be in nature and maybe put some meat in the freezer, but mostly to settle into the stand with her book and Bible in hand. Dee Ann and Larry had begun their lifelong dream of traveling and enjoyed many wonderful trips together. Summer trips with her family to the beaches of Florida or hills of Arkansas brought many moments of love and laughter to her life.
Dee Ann’s one passion above all others was sharing the love of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She had an amazing heart of servitude and worked many long hours with her friends and the ladies of LaBelle Baptist Church. She could be found on most evenings sitting in her corner of the couch; studying the Bible and praying down her list which contained most of your names at one time or another. She was a Prayer Warrior! Her sweet and sincere spirit could be felt wherever she went, and she longed for everyone to accept God’s free gift of salvation. She touched many lives and has left us with so many great memories……she will be missed.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Soileau; children, Cassie Soileau; Patrick Soileau and wife, Amy; and Ryan Soileau; grandchildren, Christopher Kohn, Kaylie Kohn, Maddox O’Halloren, Kason Elliot, Lilly Ann Soileau, and Ava Rose Soileau; and brothers, Ed Campbell; Mike Campbell; Bill Campbell and wife, Linda; and Charlie Campbell and wife, Pat. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Patricia “Patsy” Campbell and Clarice Hebinck and her husband, Robert; brother, Tim Campbell; and sisters-in-law, Melissa “Mitzi” Campbell and Ann Campbell.

Patrick and family…. Extending my deepest sympathies to you and your family for the loss of your Mother. Only know you obvioulsy through work; however, the Keepsake Video was very touching and told a story of her love of life, the Lord and her family. I know she will be dearly missed by many. May she now rest in eternal peace…
I am so sorry to hear of the news of DeeAnn’s passing. I had the pleasure of meeting, working with her at St. E hospital, and following our HF students. Such a friendly, kind soul. May she rest in peace. Praying for all her family and friends in their loss.
Ed and family,
I am terribly sorry to read about Annie, She was so sweet. I loved working with her at Howells trying to pick out furniture. (she helped me although that was not her job). Always had a smile on her face. Condolences to the family.
Annie and I worked together many years. She was always open to talk during some dark days and lent support. She was kind, professional, and thoughtful. To her family I offer my sincere condolences and I know she will leave a big hole in your hearts. Thanks for sharing her with the rest of us.
Annie was a precious and sweet friend. We worked together at Howell’s for many years.
Annie always had a smile for everyone. I am praying for her wonderful family. Enjoy sitting at the feet of our precious Lord, Annie!
I was blessed to have Mrs. Deeann as a spiritual mentor since I was in Sunday School as a child and into GA’s. She made living the Word fun and meaningful. She was like a mother and was always there as a listening ear. As an adult she was one of the women that I looked to as a role model. My heart hurts for her family but I know she is worshipping at the feet of the Father and is no longer suffering in this worldly body 💕
Such. Wonderful lady. I know you all will miss her very much! Just know.she will be with you always!! 💕🙏🙏🙏💕

Such a sweet person to work with and count as a friend for many years.
Miss Dee Ann was one of the sweetest souls I’ve ever known. I served on the local ladies’ conference planning team with her for a number of years. She had the BIGGEST servant’s heart and loved her Lord and Savior. Her prayers were always beautifully spoken and sincere. It was a privilege to know her and serve along side her, and I am thankful for the wisdom she brought into my life. She will be missed, but she is where she always longed to be! 🩷
To the Soileou family. We are very sorry to learn of Dees’ death. She now resides within the gates of Heaven with our dear Lord.
God give you strength to go through
this loss while at the same time understanding what she has gained!
