Sis. Brunet was such a sweet lady. I met her several years ago at Victory Temple. Prayers for David and his family.
Mrs. Burnet will always be remembered in Fred Texas by many. She was a wonderful teacher and help so many. She was my favorite teacher. she was so thoughtful. David she always talked about you to her students. Love was something she gave easily. Rest in Peace Mrs. Burnet, you sure left a legacy behind. David and family I hope you find a peace in the fact that she made a difference in people’s lives that will never be forgotten.
Mrs. Burnet was my 1st. grade teacher at Fred Elementary. I loved her as a teacher. She loved us all like we were her kids. After I married my husband I found out she was my husband 1st cousin so I got to know her as a adult and she was still that sweet lovable person I knew as a child. As a adult I still called her Mrs. Burnet and my husband would always say no she is Deloris and I would say she will always be Mrs. Burnet to me. She will be missed by many. Sending love to all the family.
I taught with Deloris for 19 years. She was a great friend who loved teaching…and was good at it. She was loved by everyone.
She was the only person I knew who could drink cold coffee and like it.
RIP, Deloris. You will be missed.
Prayers for David and his family.🙏🏻

Their will never be another person like her! She was one of a kind.
We love you and will miss you so much, Mrs. Brunet.

I am a better teacher because of Deloris Brunet. She was my Children’s Church teacher and later became my friend. She taught me so much! We worked together at church with the children for about 15 years. (From the time I was 17 to about 31, I had the privilege to sit under her.)
Her classroom management was always amazing to me! She had high expectations and taught the children to use their Bible. This is a skill many adults don’t even have. She taught a reverence for God and the precious love of God.
She encouraged me and prayed for me. I will forever be thankful for her leadership and guidance. One thing about Sis. Brunet, she always pointed you to the Lord if you had any kind of issue in your life. We talked a lot, and I really loved her. There is a spot in my heart for her that no one else could ever fill. She was one of the most beautiful people I ever met.
I know her health failed her in her last years, but today she is healed and praising God in Heaven. We will see her again, if we continue in the faith and serve God with all our hearts. She made sure every child that entered her classroom knew that no matter what God and His will came first.
I love you Sis. Brunet, thank you for your friendship and example.
