Sorry to hear of Dennis’s passing. I had the pleasure of playing baseball with Dennis through Babe Ruth and high school and football in high school. Though not the fastest or most athletic he had great hands in football and was a very good shortstop. Though he had a very unorthodox baseball swing he could hit with best of us.
Aways admired his passion for sports through his entire life and I know his family is proud of all his accomplishments.
Sorry for your loss. Prayers for you.
I heard about Dennis’s passing from another friend & I’m absolutely shocked! I worked with Dennis @ Matheson for about (5) years & I’m so very sorry to learn this news. My prayers go out to Denise & all their family..
I bowled with Dennis for many years. He really was quite the character. Always had a smile and something nice to say to everyone he was around. May God wrap his arms around his family and help them through this time.
Prayers for my old friend and his family. I have many memories back in Winnie on the baseball field. Not too many know that Dennis was a heck of a short stop. Loved running to every once in a while, when he would be umpiring Nederland baseball games.
I am very sorry to see the loss of a great friend on the Baseball Field. Dennis was a great umpire and it was an honor to get to officiate a Game with him. We in TASO will remember him for a long time! ⚾️❤️
I grew up with Dennis in Winnie. Though two years behind him I was always impressed with his character and athletic ability. Dennis was the first guy I remember saying if you touch it you catch it. And he always did. He had some of the best hands I ever saw at receiver and could catch a football no matter where thrown. His dad was my band director. Ironically my dad, Vaughn McDonald was band director at East Chambers in Winnie a few years before Ronald Sedtal, Dennis’ dad.
Sorry for your loss. Dennis was a great, great fellow and will be missed. I have many fond memories of him on the playing fields.
You are right Bart, although not the fastest or most gifted athlete he had great hands and skills . Very good shortstop and although he had a very unorthodox swing in baseball he could hit with the best of us. I played on Dennis’s team in Babe ruth and through high school and could always count on Dennis as a good friend and teammate.
“I’m so sorry to hear about DENNIS JAMES SEDTAL passing. May you find comfort in the memories you shared with them.🙏🙏🙏
