Denny Ray Stark
Denny Ray Stark of Beaumont died Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born July 17, 1935, in Bon Weir, Texas, to Elma Lee Stark and Samuel Adam Stark, Jr.
Denny Ray was retired from the Beaumont Police Department after 33 years of service. He was married for 56 years to his wife, Margie Ruth Stark.
Denny is survived by his sons, Jimmy Stark and his wife, Tammy and Gary Stark and his wife, Dana; grandchildren, Daniel Stark and his wife, Sara, of Orange; Hannah Plaia and her husband, Colby; and Caroline Stark all of Beaumont; sisters, Ruth Flannigan of Orange and Glenda Mote of Monroe, Louisiana; sisters-in-law, Gina Stark of Dallas, Clara Lackey of Beaumont, and Millie Elliot of Nacogdoches; great-great-grandchild, Ava Stark; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A gathering of Mr. Stark’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 20, 2021, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
His family would like to extend a special thank you to his caregiver, Lorretta Young and the staff at Harbor Hospice for their care and compassion.

Gonna miss my talks with Denny Ray. He had a wonderful sense of humor and he usually kept me laughing. I truly feel that he is happy to be with Margie again. Rest in peace, sweet friend.
