Denson ‘Danny’ Carman Fontenot

Denson ‘Danny’ Carman Fontenot, 70, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on May 2, 2026. Danny was born in Orange, Texas, on March 30, 1956.

He graduated from Forest Park High School. Danny had a lively and varied career, with jobs ranging from working in oilfield service, steel mill, and commercial sales. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and visiting with friends.

Danny is survived by brothers, Dean Fontenot of Beaumont, and David Fontenot and his wife, Wendy, of Orange; nephews, Kyle, Kevin, Dustin and Brandon Fontenot; granddaughters, Eve Bowen and Kennedy Tucker and her husband, Camden; and great-grandson, Sterling Tucker; along with his best friends, Brenda Sullivan and Johnie Dale Crocker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Ruby Fontenot; sister, Mary Fontenot; brother, Joseph Fontenot; and daughter, Courtney Meeks.

Services for Mr. Fontenot are pending under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. 409.866.3838.

    I have only known Mr. Fontenot for the last 9 years as a neighbor. He was a good guy to know. I enjoyed our talks and just a chance to get to know him. I will truly miss seeing him and his puppies. God bless

    I’m so saddened to hear this. Danny and I hung out quite a bit in our youth. And, I lost touch with him and many friends when our parents moved us away from Beaumont. Prayers to all; family and friends!
