Destiny Griffis Heiselbetz

Destiny Regina Lynn Griffis Heiselbetz, 21, of Silsbee, died Tuesday, June 7, 2022.  She was born on August 14, 2000, in Beaumont, to Kimberley Gonzales Griffis and David Michael Griffis.

Survivors include her husband, Ryan Heiselbetz; son, Joseph Dale Griffis; mother, Kimberley Gonzales; father, David Michael Griffis; grandparents, David E. Griffis, Sr.; siblings, Steven Ray Cain, Lester Oliver, Dustin, Wolf, Kelsee McDamiel, Amberly Griffis, Lina Griffis, and Jessica Baker; and aunts and uncles, Michele Scott and her husband, Timothy; Janiece Hensarling and her husband, Jeffrey; and Lawanda Gonzales and her husband, Travis LeBlanc.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Jodie and Janice Gonzales and Carolyn Griffis.

A gathering of Destiny’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her interment will follow at Franks Branch Cemetery, Fred.
