Diane Redwine

January 22, 1958 - September 2, 2021

Diane Redwine, 63, of Hamshire, died Thursday, September 2, 2021. She was born on January 22, 1958, in Vidor, to Hattie Smith and Homer Gilliam.

Diane wore many hats throughout her life. She stayed home and cared for her children during their early years. Diane worked as a computer teacher at Hillcrest Elementary for over 10 years. She also was a Real Estate Agent for many years. The highlight of Diane’s life was being wife, momma and GiGi. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved having her house full of her family. She loved having “girl’s nights” and “boy’s nights” with her grandchildren. She was always up for any adventure. She absolutely loved vacationing with her family and experiencing God’s beautiful creations around her. Diane loved serving in her church and was always showing God’s love to anyone who crossed her path. She greatly enjoyed sitting across from others and just listening. One of her greatest qualities was being an encourager. This was most definitely her God-given gift. She beamed with joy at all times. This is because she lived her life for her Jesus. In everything she did, she did as unto the Lord. She has left a legacy of love that will shine through her children and grandchildren. She was an example to all in how she fought her battles; on her knees in prayer. To know Diane was to love her and be loved by her.

Survivors include her husband of forty-six years, Mark Redwine; son, Marcus Redwine and his wife, Darla; daughter, Crystal Foxworth and her husband, Troy; son, Heath Redwine and his wife, Katie; grandchildren, Ashlyn Redwine; Austin Redwine; Miles Redwine; Grace Redwine; Zack Redwine; Diesel Redwine; Oliver Redwine; Jayse Redwine; Brianna Byrd and her husband, Justin; Alyssa Foxworth; Colby Foxworth; Audrey Foxworth; Ethan Foxworth; Emilee Foxworth; Madilynn Redwine; Hudson Redwine; Paislee Redwine; Lylian Redwine; and Lincoln Redwine; great-grandchildren, Jesse Byrd, Baby Caroline Byrd on the way; and Khyler Huynh; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
