Dianne Miller

April 9, 1955 - May 18, 2023

In memory of Dianne Miller, 68 of Fannett, Texas; an irreplaceable woman, mother, grandmother, and friend. Dianne passed away at her home on May 18, 2023. She was born April 9, 1955, in Port Arthur, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Reed Miller and three children, Justin Miller, Logan Miller, and Michael Miller. As well as brother, Kenneth Terrell and wife, Becky Terrell and their children, Kevin and Jennifer.

Dianne’s most cherished survivors include her four grandchildren: Ellie Miller, Aedan Miller, Jade Miller, and June Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor Ray Terrell and Leah Pauline Terrell; sister, Berna Dene Leal; and mother-in-law, Rhea Mae Miller.

Dianne grew up and lived in Port Neches, Texas, until moving to Fannett in 1992. She spent 12 years raising three boys before returning to school to become an R.N. Throughout her professional career, she served patients across several area hospitals. She ended her career with 15 years at her favorite job, providing care and comfort for the elderly at the Arboretum in Winnie, Texas. Dianne had a presence that was comforting and peaceful to all of those she loved and cared for.

She loved spending time at the beach with family and friends. Dianne always enjoyed watching a Cowboys or Astros game with her husband, Reed. Throughout their 48 years together, they explored and adventured from the beaches of south Texas to the slot machines in Vegas. She always had time for family and ended every day with a good book.

Dianne has left a lasting impression on our hearts and memories.  She will be missed by all those who truly knew her.

A gathering of Mrs. Miller’s family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.

    She was a legend to all of us kids growing up on Dallas street in Port Neches…..always the most kindest woman, such a clam and collect woman to put up with a neighborhood mostly of boys……..always had cookies and drinks (kool-aid or lemonade) made the best sweet tea……..thank you Mrs Miller for the best memories in my childhood and condolences for the family……may God comfort you all…..Amen
